Well, I haven't posted anything in awhile - mostly due to the fact that things have been incredibly busy with people moving, rooms being cleaned, work, and everything else including school and animation mentor; And it would seem through some glitch in email registration that everytime I want to sign in to this account to post on the blog I have to go through a series of password recovery systems just to get to the account management of the "google" account that really isn't a google account and I have no idea how that happened - BUT ANYWAY ;
ANIMATION MENTOR HAS STARTED ! I'm so thrilled, so excited! Another week and a half until we actually start our classes, I can't wait to see which of the people in the community I'll be placed with, probably people around my timeline as it was stated during last week's live Q&A.
I'm feeling a bit mellow right now, possibly due to the triple-threadin' of last night along with the fact that it's 2 PM and I just recently woke up; I need to find some keys that I lost yesterday night. Better get to it; Will post again later this week!
Well, September is right around the corner and I can hardly wait. Just one more month and I will be starting the Animation Mentor Maya Workshop! I'll be very careful to update this site regularly as I haven't in the past weeks.
So here I am waiting for Animation Mentor to start, working part time on my vide editing contracts. I can honestly say I spent alot of time debating wether I should do the Maya Workshop or not and came to the conclusion that it wouldn't hurt, even if it pushes everything back to January. You can never learn enough, right?
Blooooooo-rhghghghghg ! Yes, that's right! A BLOG! I'll be updating this quite often, the next 2 months are going to be extremely long given the fact that I don't start AM ( Animation Mentor ) until the end of September! So in the meantime, I'll be keeping busy!
So just who is this guy anyway, and what's animation?
Well, he's like any other young adult you'd encounter on the street with an opinion of his own for everything, who's 6'3" and yet doesn't feel particularly tall, who likes cheese with practically anything, who loves 3D and Design, who loves music so much that he enjoys listening to any kind or style of it, who gives a lot to all the people around him without a thought of wanting anything in return.. Well, he's like any other individual, since we're all unique in our own ways aren't we?
And that's what Character Animation is all about. Giving life to a character, to a person, to a thing, an object or a wall or an environment or a tree, anything! It's giving it life and making it unique, make it seem like a living breathing thing that has a mind of it's own. It's a matter of getting inside it's skin and realizing that you can make this puppet live, much like Pinocchio.
Animation is giving life, it's going beyond what is practical and visible in front of you, and going inside and underneath to work the magic.
A young aspiring artist who decided to specialize in what he believes to be an exact representation of who he is as an individual being. Giving life to the lifeless, is no easy feat.
I love all kinds of art and the forms it takes, I practically live, eat and breathe on the stuff. I try to implicate it in everything I do and everywhere I go.
I'm a very kind and loving person with a huge heart who loves to be around people.
